Our Journey

Founded by Kshitij Dua and Gayatri Dua, Vedhira is the passion project of two individuals who’ve always shared a deep-rooted interest in the Indian fashion industry. With a vision to offer elegant yet accessible fashion, they launched Vedhira to bring everyday ethnic wear into the spotlight—comfortable cotton suits, rich prints, and inclusive sizing that resonates with the real, modern Indian woman.

The duo brings a unique blend of industry and corporate expertise to the brand:

  • Kshitij Dua, a Civil Engineer and MBA in Infrastructure Management, worked with reputed firms like Shapoorji Pallonji and DLF (Westend Heights, Bangalore), before taking the entrepreneurial leap.
  • Gayatri Dua, a B.Com (Hons.) graduate from the College of Vocational Studies, has a strong financial background, having spent 4 years in the Audit Department at KPMG.

Together, they turned their complementary strengths into a brand that now redefines ethnic fashion with simplicity and style.

From Distribution to Direct-to-Consumer

Vedhira operates under the parent company CK Enterprises, which was founded in 2016. CK Enterprises began as a leading garment distributor in Uttarakhand, partnering with multiple national brands. Over time, their stronghold grew to a pan-India presence, paving the way for expansion into the digital world.

Recognizing the shift in consumer behavior and the growing demand for quality ethnic wear online, Kshitij and Gayatri launched Vedhira.in to directly connect with customers across the country.
